What's New at HAAM:

Sign up now to compete for the "BEST OF THREE" amateur high point award to be presented to the exhibitor earning the most points at the All Arabian, Showtime, and West Michigan Fall Classic shows. A sign up is available in the FORMS section of the website.

Once again HAAM will sponsor a booth at the annual Michigan Horse Expo 2011, to be held March 11-13 at the MSU Pavilion.  Look for HAAM president Gayle Led widge,  Futurity Chairman Pat Bretz,  and director Evelyn Rendzio in the HAAM booth.  They will gladly answer your questions about HAAM and the Half Arabian horse.

Showtime programs are going to the printers with few changes in the main ring.  However,  with an eye toward pleasing its exhibitors, Showtime 2011 will offer three days of Arabian and Half Arabian Dressage  in addition to the usual Arabian, Half Arabian,  NSH and Sport Horse classes , all contained  within a three day format of exhibitor -friendly scheduling.   Lori Schroder-Ross and Dagmar Zimmerman will be officiating.

The MAHABF  Futurity will be held September 16-18, 2011.  Contact Pat Bretz to nominate your foal for this prestigious  event.  One $100 fee covers all nomination requirements.  The Stallion Auction will again take place in conjunction  with the popular exhibitors' dinner.

In response to Michigan State University's activation of an endowment for the preservation of the Arabian horse, HAAM pledged the sum of $5,000.00 toward this fund.   The MSU breeding program is the third oldest continuous Arabian breeding program in the United States,  and it is with great pride that HAAM proposes  to help uphold the continuity of this program, which is housed at the MSU Horse Teaching and Research Center.
